jake asked me to join him at the gamestage@AEC#2, a gathering of gamers and game developers from austria, to take some pictures while he's doing a demonstration on the game "limelight" in the "deep space" room of the AEC. and i happily did join him. so i got to see some cool games they had there, such as "noomix", "schein", (of course) "limelight", "chasing aurora", etc...
a game in the "deep space" of the AEC is pretty impressive, since the display area of the game is on the front wall, and the interactive area on the ground, where players' movements get tracked. so by walking around they can position the lumees, light-beings that help to light the way for the main character, a little wizard apprentice who's in a dark cellar, trying to find some gems. people can send in monsters by writing an email or sending a text message, and by adding a name, they can also give their monster a name. this evening was pretty fun, and i got to see loads of awesome stuff. and it was very nice seeing jake's game live in action in the "deep space".
