yow. due to really annoying, frequent spam entries to my bLog site, i decided to disable it a few months ago. now i had some time to patch the existing writeback plugin written by Rael Dornfest to do at least a little check for a bit of intelligence. the patch now requires to enter a random four-digit number into a text field. it's basically like the graphical version of blogger.de or other mainstream blog hosters. i think/hope this more simple version will do it's job, since i doubt spambot coders will adopt their bots to spam my little bLog. so i feel pretty safe now. aehm... yeah, of course comments are welcome on this development.
